Announcements

The “Announcements” feature in mySecondTeacher allows teachers and school leaders to make important announcements to specific class(es) or the entire school.

The announcements made will be visible to students every time they log in to mySecondTeacher.

The teachers and school leaders can stop the announcements anytime they want.

  • Click on the Announcement to Students button under the Chat and Announcements tab on your Dashboard (Teacher’s Dashboard).
  • Select and fill in the required fields
    • Select the audience — entire class or school
    • Type in your announcement
  • Click Continue

The announcement will be posted immediately and will be visible to targeted audience.

Yes you can.

  • Click on the Profile Picture at the top right corner of the dashboard.
  • Click on the My profile button from the drop-down menu
  • Select the Announcement tab from the left column
  • Click on the Edit Announcements button under the respective announcement
  • Make your changes to the message or the class(es).

The announcements stop only when you specifically stop the announcements.

  • Click on the Profile Picture at the top right corner of the dashboard.
  • Click on the My profile button from the drop-down menu
  • Select the Announcement tab from the left column
  • Click Stop Announcement.

The announcement will stop immediately.
